We stay at home, watch our video
The Mikeli team is already working from home, adapting like many other companies to COVID-19 regulations to ensure the safety of both our clients and our employees. We are living through difficult times that require us to act together, and with a dose of responsibility, work from home to combat it.
Given the circumstances of the health emergency, our priority must be clear: the health and well-being of everyone—our clients, our families, and society as a whole—above all else. Therefore, we must act proactively to stay ahead of events, learning from the harsh experiences of other countries where the spread of the virus is already massive. The only measure that has proven effective in containing the exponential spread of the virus is for the population to remain in lockdown until the situation subsides. It is everyone’s responsibility to slow down the contagion to avoid collapsing the healthcare system. To the extent possible, we must stay at home.
In Spain, the spread of the virus is already very significant, and at Mikeli, we are already working remotely. We are going to share the steps we are taking to carry out our activity as normally as possible from home.
It is very important not to lose the routine; therefore, the usual schedule is maintained, and our team meets as usual first thing in the morning, but via video conference. This new way of holding meetings is more comfortable, simple, and effective for keeping internal communication active.
Teleworking requires us to stay connected for a certain amount of time each day; because of this, our workers schedule a series of breaks to ensure their workday is as effective as possible, always keeping health in mind.
Our decisive commitment to digitalization a few months ago has fortunately meant that the change has not affected us much. Now, during this time of lockdown, we are dedicating most of our efforts to optimizing the advertising of our portfolio across various web portals and social networks to get the highest possible performance from all of them.
We analyze the market, which is constantly changing in light of this critical situation, in order to provide our clients with immediate advice regarding new developments in the sector. Furthermore, we continue to conduct viewings virtually, increasing our guided tours by 95% more than usual thanks to our Matterport 3D virtual reality system, which transports you to your desired apartment with just one click.
Our staff will continue to expand their knowledge with online real-time estate training courses, another way to make the most of this time and further their studies in the sector in a more engaging way.
Regarding our clients, the best course of action under these circumstances is to remain in your homes and utilize digital and remote channels. That being said, we are maintaining our usual business hours, and our agents will be available to advise you at all times.
We would like to express our gratitude and show our full support to healthcare personnel, as well as others, such as social workers and volunteers helping families, and workers in essential services like food supply, public transport, pharmacies, and many more. Thank you once again for your effort and dedication. Finally, we would like to send a message to all our clients who have tested positive for coronavirus, as well as those who are in quarantine due to direct contact with an affected person. From Mikeli, we wish you a speedy recovery and send you all our support to face this isolation and these moments of uncertainty.
