The robot protagonist from the movie Short Circuit wanted to cheer on the Santander team before the match began. From the Exhibition Palace, where he was stationed at the stand set up for the Santander Real Estate Show, he greeted the many fans gathered around the Sardinero stadium. Dressed in a Racing de Santander scarf, just like any other supporter, it seems he brought luck to Ángel Viadero’s boys; they managed to secure all three points, taking the Sardinero team to the very top of the table as solo leaders.
